The Beothuk Interpretation Centre has three main elements; the visitor centre, the archaeological site, and a connecting trail system. This Historic Sites features the archaeological remains of several of the Beothuks distinctive house pits, and an interpretive trail discusses their use of the area and its resources. The site also includes an interpretive centre that describes the Beothuk and their way of life. The centre is open to the public from mid-June to mid-October.

Built in 1876, approximately 300 ft above sea level with a viewing platform that makes this location the best place in North America to see Icebergs and whales along “Iceberg ally.”
